LONDON -- Queen Cersei may be Spaina fairly unpleasant character in the Game of Thronesuniverse, but actress Lena Headey has proven time and time again she's anything but.

When you consider her position on Donald Trump and her recent efforts to spread awareness of the refugee crisis, it's really no surprise that Headey would be a fan of Meryl Streep's Golden Globes speech.

In the speech, which was praised by many but divided others, Streep spoke about the dangers of exclusion, disrespect and violence.

On Monday morning, Headey made her own feelings about the speech crystal clear.

She wasn't the only celebrity to support Streep's words, either. J.K. Rowling retweeted a full transcript of the speech written up in a New York Times article, while John Legend and Ellen DeGeneres (among many others) made their voices heard on Twitter.

Donald Trump has since responded to Streep's speech in a New York Timesinterview.
